Multimedia project “Dance in the War Zone?” at NAMU – summaries and reflections

Recently, the exhibition “Dance in the War Zone?” was closed, and with it the last series of events within its parallel program. Now that the highlights are behind us, it’s time to take stock and reminisce about everything that happened in these 6 weeks, so we invite you to talk about the chosen ways of covering dance in the museum and the experiences you’ve had while getting to know it. This Thursday there will be an online event where the artists and curators of the project will reflect with you on everything that happened and more!

IMPORTANT: the event will take place online, registered participants receive the link a day before the event.

The event concludes with the multimedia project “Dance in the War Zone?”. Modern dance artists – project participants were invited to answer the question “How to dance in a war zone?” not with words, but with the language of the body and movements. As a result, together with photographer-artists, an exhibition was created that corresponds to their own experience of living through the Russian invasion.
