An active member of the Creative Youth Club "Sveminin" (1960 - 1964), Alla Horska became the driving force of a group of artists, writers and theater actors who sought artistic freedom in the dogmatic Soviet world, sought to renew the artistic language, by turning to banned modernist art, folk art and sought the truth about the crimes of the 1930s. Powerful, courageous, attentive and gentle at the same time, Horska rightfully became a symbol of change and determination in Ukrainian art.
