The team of the project After Socialist Modernism is pleased to present the collection, which was published in the format of a special issue of the journal “CHCS: city, history, culture, society ”.
We’ll talk about
– history of creation and research of architecture and planning of the period
– peculiarities of work with texts and translations
– design and approach to the layout of the publication
– interactive component of the project and our website aftersocialistmodernism.com
We will be happy to hear your questions and discuss the importance of such projects and their role in shaping public discourse and memory.
Due to the limited edition, physical copies will be mostly available in public and research libraries, but at the presentation there will be an opportunity to look through them and evaluate them up close.
📌The presentation will take place on September 21 (Wednesday) at 6 p.m. at the National Art Museum of Ukraine at Mykhailo Hrushevs’koho Street, 6. You can get to the museum through the service entrance located at the back of the museum.
