Workshop for journalists with Larysa Venedyktova (online)

Round tables, discussions and workshops of the exhibition “Dance in the war zone?” repeatedly examined the problem of preserving the dance, in particular within the walls of the museum. But how to write, talk and show about him turned out to be a difficult aspect of coverage. That is why Larysa Venedyktova, the artist of the exhibition, performer and director, invites journalists to a dialogue within her online workshop, where all participants will be able to develop joint ways of telling about dance.

How to look at dance and how to write about it? How does a review differ from an analysis? What should be considered in the language of modern dance? You will be able to hear the answers to these and other questions next Thursday, within the final series of events for the exhibition “Dance in the War Zone?”. We invite journalists, researchers and all interested parties to join!

IMPORTANT: the event will take place online, registered participants receive the link a day before the event.

Larysa Venedyktova is a choreographer, artist, acting teacher. She founded and participates in the DanceLaboratorium group (2001 – now). Participated with the group in international festivals, exhibitions, residencies. Director at the Free Stage Theater (2002 – 2011).
