Exhibition “Needle work” by Anastasiia Podervianska

On May 18, International Museum Day, at 6:00 p.m., we invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Needle work” by the famous artist Anastasia Podervianska. As part of the exhibition project, the artist’s works from textiles, with which she has been working since 2015, will be presented. The artist’s works trace the traditions of baroque and folk art, appeal to world art and elements of mass culture.

“Futuromarennia: Ukraine and the avant-garde” (Belgium)

On Sunday, March 17, in Drogenbos (Belgium), the FeliX Art & Eco Museum opened the exhibition “Futuromarennia: Ukraine and the Avant-Garde”, in which 16 works from the NAMU collection are presented. In particular, the European public will see the works of Viktor Palmov, Oleksandr Bogomazov, Anatoly Petrytskyi, Vasyl Yermilov and many others.

New season of museum lectures “Ukrainian Art: Figures Against the Background of Epochs”

As part of a new lecture series titled “Ukrainian Art: Figures Against the Background of Epochs,” museum scholars will focus on those prominent figures who shaped the development of Ukrainian art. The 15 lectures will cover the period from antiquity to the end of the twentieth century, and will focus on different art centers and the contribution of different communities to the rich artistic palette of Ukraine.
